DRIVING WITH EXPIRED REGISTRATION / FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE / DRIVING WITH LICENSE SUSP/CANC/REVOKED / EVADING ARREST / UNLAWFUL DRUG PARAPHERNALIA / CRIMINAL TRESPASS: On July 3, officers noticed a Subaru Outback traveling on Cosby Highway with an expired registration that showed a suspended plate. They initiated a traffic stop and when the vehicle stopped the passenger fled. The driver was identified as Jerrie Davis, 49. A check of her license showed it to be suspended. Davis had an expired registration and no proof of insurance. The male passenger was pursued by the other officer who was able to catch up with him and detain him. He was identified as John Sisk, 30, who said he ran because he was scared. Sisk was placed in the back of the patrol car while the officer searched the passenger side of the vehicle where a hollow pen with residue consistent with illegal narcotics was found in the passenger seat. A pink baggie with residue and another hollow pen was found In the center dash. When questioned about the paraphernalia, Sisk claimed ownership of the items. Sisk was also checked for warrants through dispatch and it was verified he had a warrant for criminal trespass. Both Davis and Sisk were transported to the jail without incident.
