Stretch out your Fourth of July celebration this Saturday with the Port Oòòò½ÊÓÆµ™Connoròòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Fireworks show. The cityòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s fireworks display is scheduled annually on the first Saturday of July.
After getting Friday off for the official Fourth of July, everyone in the Crossroads can head over to King Fisher Beach in Port Oòòò½ÊÓÆµ™Connor at the end of Highway 185 on Park Street.
The fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m., but the Port Oòòò½ÊÓÆµ™Connor Chamber of Commerce promises fun throughout the entire day. While the park and beach have their own covered picnic tables, BBQ pits and basketball court, vendors of all types will be available streetside.
Attendees can chow down on classic festival food like funnel cakes and hot dogs from food trucks like Trevinoòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Concessions and Markòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Waterfront Wieners, as well as South Texas Staples like street tacos and corn in a cup from Mamaòòò½ÊÓÆµ™s Corny Cob and Taqueria La Patrona. A good way to beat the heat is with snow cones and unique drinks available to public.

The Port Oòòò½ÊÓÆµ™Connor Chamber of Commerce has updated the popular King Fisher Beach during the past year. The north sea wall has been replaced for the future of the beach and shade structures have been repaired. Restrooms have also been renovated for the convenience and comfort of the public.
Bring chairs, sunscreen, floats, and canopies and come on out to Port Oòòò½ÊÓÆµ™Connoròòò½ÊÓÆµ™s King Fisher Beach Saturday. Come early and spend the day enjoying the sun, surf, and sand from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Then, finish the day in fun and style with the best fireworks show on Matagorda Bay with commercial-grade pyrotechnics donated by businesses across the Crossroads region.
